Your Key Responsibilities as the Semi Senior Accountant:
- Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- Preparation of corporation tax returns and personal tax returns
- Assisting with VAT returns, bookkeeping, and management accounts
- Supporting senior accountants and managers with client work and ad hoc tasks
- Liaising with clients to gather information and resolve queries
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and deadlines
- Using accounting software to maintain accurate financial records
To be considered for this Semi Senior Accountant position:
- Part-qualified ACA or ACCA (or equivalent experience in practice)
- Solid experience within an accountancy practice environment
- Good understanding of accounts preparation and basic tax compliance
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident communicator with a professional approach to clients
- Keen to develop and progress within a supportive team
