Job Description

Are you a Maintenance Manager looking for a new challenge within the West Midlands area?

My client is looking for an Maintenance Manager experienced within Property Maintenance including but not limited to carpenters, plasterers, gas engineers, cleaners, gardeners, electricians, plumbers and decorators!

£35k-£43k per year

As a Property Maintenance Manager you will:
Main purpose of the role is to plan, manage and implement the delivery of property maintenance services to customers to the highest standard, providing strong leadership and direction.

Assist in ensuring contractually agreed KPI's / SLA's are achieved or exceeded. To be responsible for performance management, recruitment, development and appraisals, succession plans and team welfare. Oversee all operational and maintenance activities, to ensure work is executed in a safe and suitable manner. To provide management information/reporting as required to both client and internal management.

The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for ensuring that maintenance projects are completed on time, within budget and to the quality standards mandated by the company. Additionally, the Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the profitability of the department.

It would also be the responsibility of the Maintenance Manager to take ownership for sustainably growing the business, securing contracts, and working alongside the sales team on Tender opportunities.

Experience required:
  • Supervisory skills, maintenance management and maintenance repair skills
  • Equipment management
  • Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems
  • Ability to develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules
  • Problem solving & decision-making skills
  • Influencing positive changes internally and at client level
  • Experience is controlling cost centre P&L
  • Track record of delivering profitable & sustainable growth
