CNC Programmer/Operator

Our client is an established manufacturer based near Ga twick,Crawley.

They are in the process of purchasing new XYZ Protrak 2 OP CNC mill and are looking for an experienced programmer/operator to run it.

You will be required to:
Set up and operate the machine.
Setting programmes for bespoke projects from clients
Attending manufacturers operative training on the machine
Be involved in future machine acquisitions and staff training
Head up the machining division and be involved in its expansion/progression

Skills expected include

Previous knowledge of working with CNC vertical mills
Ability to write, load, test and run programmes (mostly cutting out small panels from sheet metal)
Read and inerpret engineering drawings and load them into CNC programmes
Work with small batch runs to tight tolerances
Have a mature, managerial approach and be key played in an expanding department.
