Job Description

We’re currently working on behalf of our client, a well-established and growing SME based in Edenbridge, to recruit a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to take ownership of day-to-day warehouse operations and lead a busy, fast-paced team.

This is a highly practical, “lead from the front” role — ideal for someone who thrives in a working environment where they are just as involved on the warehouse floor as they are in supervising the team.

Our client is looking for a reliable, organised and proactive individual who can maintain high standards of accuracy, safety, and efficiency, while motivating others to do the same.

The Role
You’ll play a key role in keeping warehouse operations running smoothly on a day-to-day basis. Responsibilities include:
  • Taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of warehouse activity and workflow
    • Coaching, directing, and supporting team members to ensure strong performance and consistency
    • Coordinating the safe and efficient movement of goods in and out of the warehouse
    • Maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring systems are kept fully up to date
    • Overseeing the full order cycle from picking through to packing and dispatch
    • Ensuring inbound and outbound shipments are processed correctly with accurate paperwork
    • Carrying out basic checks on equipment and escalating any repair needs
    • Supporting in assembly/build tasks when operationally required
    • Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and operating at a high standard
    • Supporting onboarding and day-to-day guidance of new starters and apprentices

About You
  • Experienced working within a warehouse environment, ideally with some supervisory exposure
    • Highly organised with a strong focus on accuracy and detail
    • Physically capable of supporting manual handling duties when needed
    • Forklift trained
    • Confident working with warehouse systems and processes
    • Clear and effective communicator who can guide and support a team
    • Dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable in a busy SME setting

The Package
  • £28,000–£30,000 DOE
    • Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm
    • On-the-job training and development provided
    • Opportunity to grow within a supportive and expanding business
    • Fast-paced, team-focused working environment
