Production Operative

Job Title: Meat Production Operative - East Grinstead
We are currently recruiting for Meat Production Operatives to join a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role involves working as part of a team to prepare, process, and package meat products to high quality and hygiene standards.
Hours: 10am - 8pm Tuesday - Saturday
 
Key Responsibilities

• Handling raw and cooked meat products in a safe and hygienic manner
• Operating production line machinery and equipment (training provided)
• Weighing, packing, and labelling products accurately
• Ensuring all products meet quality and food safety standards
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area in line with hygiene regulations
• Following all health and safety procedures at all times
• Working efficiently to meet daily production targets

 
Requirements

• Previous experience in food production or a similar environment is desirable but not essential
• Ability to work in a chilled environment
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility with working hours, including shifts if required
