About the Role We are seeking a multi-skilled individual to join our client's modern machine shop.

And, over time, developing into:

Whether you are an experienced machinist, a quality inspector looking for a new challenge, or an Engineering graduate looking to transition into a varied, technical support role, we want to hear from you. If you have transferable skills and the ability to adapt, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • CNC Machining: Program, set, and operate 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC Milling machines.

    • Quality Control: Conduct in-process and final inspections using Aberlink Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).

    • Communication: Professionally represent the business to customers and suppliers, building strong relationships and handling communications with confidence.

Ideal Skills & Experience
  • Technical Foundation: An engineering qualification or proven hands-on experience in an engineering environment.

    • Machining Knowledge: Strong understanding of machining principles, with Fanuc-based controls and Haas machinery.

    • CAD/CAM Software: Practical experience with EdgeCam, OneCnc, Alphacam, or Fusion 360 is highly advantageous.

    • Quality & Inspection: Proven background in component inspection and familiarity with CMM tools.

    • Office & IT Skills: Solid understanding of engineering office workflows, good IT literacy, and experience using Microsoft Office & Outlook.

    • Autonomy: Ability to work with minimal supervision, follow instructions accurately, and thrive in both a high-precision workshop and a professional office environment.

Benefits
  • Competitive salary of £40,000 – £50,000 (DOE)

    • Company Pension Scheme
