Plastic Moulding Toolmaker

Location/Workplace: Horsham/On-site parking available

Salary: £40,000 - £46,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Hours: Core hours between 08:00 and 16:00, Monday to Friday (flexible start time)

Role OverviewOur client is seeking an experienced, time-served injection mould Toolmaker with bench fitting experience to manufacture and assemble bespoke mould tooling solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacture full mould tooling and modular systems in steels and alloys.
  
  
• Assemble, fit, modify, refurbish, service, and repair injection mould tooling.
  
  
• Machine to a high standard using standard toolroom equipment.
  
  
• Manufacture jigs and fixtures to support the mould shop.
  
  
• Inspect own work and maintain accountability for output quality.
  
  

Key Requirements

• Time-served Toolmaker with hands-on bench fitting experience for injection mould tools.
  
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  
  
• Proficiency in using standard toolroom machinery (surface grinders, cylindrical grinders, manual lathes, and mills).
  
  
• Desirable skills: Experience with CAD/CAM software, Wire/Spark erosion, and CMM.
