Stores Operative

Our client, a well-established company based in Crawley, is looking for a reliable and organised Stores Operative to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous warehouse experience who enjoys a hands-on role involving goods in, picking, packing and dispatch.


Key Responsibilities

• Picking and packing parts accurately for customer orders.
  
  
• Preparing and despatching packages.
  
  
• Booking goods in and checking deliveries against relevant paperwork.
  
  
• Identifying and reporting any discrepancies or damaged goods.
  
  
• Maintaining accurate stock records and an organised stores area.
  
  
• Operating a counterbalance forklift where required.
  
  
• Occasionally delivering goods to local destinations using a company vehicle.
  
  
• Supporting general warehouse and stores duties as needed.

About You

• Previous warehouse experience, including picking, packing and goods-in duties.
  
  
• Full, valid UK driving licence.
  
  
• Reliable, organised and conscientious, with good attention to detail.
  
  
• A proactive approach and the ability to see tasks through to completion.
  
  
• Experience working with components or part numbers.
  
  
• A valid counterbalance forklift licence.

What's on Offer?

• Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm 
  
  
• Salary of £25,000–£28,000 DOE
  
  
• Permanent position with an established and growing business.
  
  
• Free onsite parking.
