Fixed-Term Contract (13-18 months)
Help shape the future of customer experience at Thames Water
We're looking for a proactive and driven Product Delivery Coordinator to play a key role in coordinating change across our Customer Contact and Retail Product teams.
This is more than a coordination role. We're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, bringing fresh ideas, challenging constructively and influencing positive change. You'll be confident building relationships across the business, identifying opportunities for improvement and helping shape how product delivery is coordinated across multiple Agile product teams.
Working closely with Product Owners, Business Readiness teams and key stakeholders, you'll ensure priorities remain aligned, risks and dependencies are managed, and delivery stays on track. Your ability to influence, collaborate and drive continuous improvement will be key to your success.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact, helping co-ordinate delivery of changes across multiple Product Teams that improve both customer and colleague experiences while supporting services used by millions of customers every day.
What you'll be doing as the Product Delivery Coordinator:
Working at the heart of major customer and operational change initiatives, you'll coordinate delivery across multiple Agile product teams, ensuring plans stay on track and business outcomes are achieved. You'll be the critical link between delivery teams, providing visibility of progress, managing dependencies, identifying risks and helping teams resolve issues quickly to maintain delivery momentum. Your work will directly contribute to improvements in both customer and agent experience, helping us deliver meaningful change across Thames Water.

Key Accountabilities
Coordinate Agile Delivery
- Coordinate delivery activities across multiple Agile product teams and sprint cycles.
- Support planning, delivery and execution of change initiatives aligned to business priorities.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies to understand delivery progress, dependencies and risks.
- Work alongside Product Owners to ensure successful sprint planning and delivery outcomes.
- Manage and maintain proactive rolling planning across multiple product teams.
- Identify and manage key risks, dependencies and inter-team impacts.
- Provide clear visibility of upcoming changes and delivery milestones.
- Act as a key point of contact for Product Owner and Business Readiness regarding planning and delivery activities.
- Build strong relationships across Product, Technology, Business Readiness and operational teams.
- Escalate issues appropriately and facilitate timely resolution.
- Positively challenge stakeholders and delivery approaches to drive better outcomes and minimise risks.
- Gather and communicate progress updates from Product Owners and delivery teams.
- Provide accurate and timely reporting to stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Maintain high-quality documentation to support governance, audit and knowledge sharing.
- Promote Agile best practice and collaborative ways of working.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve planning, communication and delivery processes.
- Challenge existing approaches where appropriate to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support a culture of innovation, transparency and continuous improvement.
Essential Experience
- Experience in a delivery coordination, project support, project management or similar role within an Agile environment.
- Experience supporting large-scale transformation, business change or programme delivery activities.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience coordinating delivery across multiple teams, workstreams or Agile product squads.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience driving improvements and influencing positive change within delivery, project or Agile environments.
- Proven ability to challenge constructively and influence stakeholders to achieve better outcomes.
- Experience working independently, taking ownership and operating effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good understanding of Agile methodologies, sprint planning and delivery practices.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Strong active listening skills with a proactive and solution-focused approach.
- Ability to tailor communications to different audiences and stakeholder groups.
- A proactive and innovative mindset with the confidence to challenge positively and influence stakeholders at all levels.

- Utilities, water or highly regulated industry experience.
- Experience using planning, reporting or Agile delivery tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
- Experience supporting governance, quality assurance or delivery assurance activities.
- A recognised Project Management qualification (APM, PRINCE2 or equivalent).
- Agile qualification such as AgilePM, Scrum or similar.
Hours: 36 hours per week
