Job Description
We are currently recruiting experienced PCV Technicians to join a busy and professional engineering team based near London Heathrow Airport.
This is an excellent opportunity for technicians skilled in heavy vehicle maintenance with a background in either electrical or mechanical repairs to join a growing company and enhance their skills.
The role will be shift based working a 4 on 4 off rota including approximately 4 night shifts per month (1 night shift per rotation).
The Role
As a PCV Technician, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, servicing, and repair of buses, coaches and heavy goods vehicles, ensuring the fleet is compliant with all relevant safety and regulatory requirements.
You will work collaboratively with the wider engineering team to minimise vehicle downtime and support operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and servicing.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults including accident repairs, minor welding, body and chassis repairs.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and safety checks.
- Complete all maintenance records accurately.
- Ensure vehicles meet DVSA and company compliance standards.
- Respond to breakdowns and repair requirements as required.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a PCV, HGV, Bus, Coach or Commercial Vehicle Technician.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Relevant technical qualifications (NVQ level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
