General Operative

Job title: General Operative
Location: Evesham
Hours: 07:00 to 16:00, Monday to Friday
Pay: £11.50 p/hr
Contract: Ongoing Temporary to Permanent  

As a General Operative in Evesham, your primary responsibility will be to assist with various tasks within the designated work area. You will work under the supervision of a team leader or supervisor and collaborate with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.

Responsibilities:
*Perform general duties such as packing, sorting, and labelling products according to the provided guidelines.
*Operate machinery or equipment, adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean working environment.
*Monitor production processes, making adjustments as required to maintain efficiency and quality standards.
*Follow established procedures for handling and storing materials or products.
*Assist in inventory management, including stock counting and reporting any discrepancies to the supervisor.
*Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
*Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area, including clearing any hazards or obstacles.

Requirements:
*Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential, as on-the-job training will be provided.
*Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team to achieve common goals.
*Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in repetitive tasks.
*Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and carrying objects.
*Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
*Punctuality and reliability to ensure consistent attendance and adherence to work schedules.
