We are currently recruiting for a Water Blasting Operative to join a leading aerospace manufacturer based in Worcester.
With over 40 years of experience supplying precision castings to a range of high-profile customers, this is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business offering long-term career prospects, full training and genuine opportunities for progression.
Working within the Water Blasting department, you will use high-pressure water blasting equipment to remove residual wax from moulds following the dewaxing process. Your work will play an important role in preparing moulds for the next stage of the investment casting process while ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate high-pressure water blasting equipment safely and efficiently
- Remove residual wax from moulds following the dewaxing process
- Handle moulds carefully to prevent damage during the cleaning process
- Carry out visual inspections to ensure wax has been completely removed
- Follow work instructions and company procedures
- Report damaged or defective moulds to the relevant department
- Maintain equipment and keep the work area clean, organised and safe
- Follow all health and safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE
- Work closely with other production departments to achieve production targets
- Aerospace manufacturing environment
- Wet working conditions
- Manual role involving standing for long periods
- Regular handling of moulds and production equipment
- Full PPE and training provided
Essential
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment
- Good practical skills and a hands-on approach to work
- Ability to carry out manual handling tasks safely
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual and committed to producing high-quality work
- Flexible approach to overtime when required
- Previous experience operating high-pressure water blasting or industrial pressure washing equipment
- Experience within aerospace, foundry or engineering manufacturing
- Experience working with investment casting processes
