Job Title: Postal/Parcel Delivery Driver
Location: NORTHAMPTON/ TOWESTER DEPO

Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: Temporary
Pay Rate: £13.37 per hour
Working Hours: UP to 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday,

Between the hours of 0700 –1900

Overtime: Available during weekends

Job Description:
Pertemps is delighted to be supporting Royal Mail in recruiting multi-drop Postal/Parcel Delivery Drivers in the NORTHAMPTON/ TOWESTER DEPO

 

If you have excellent customer service skills and want to be part of a dynamic and growing industry, this position is perfect for you.

Key Responsibilities:
Start your day at the local delivery office, sorting and collecting post/parcels for delivery.
Use a handheld device to capture customer signatures and assist with routing.
Deliver letters and parcels on foot and by vehicle, walking up to 8 miles per day.
Carry a delivery bag (up to 16kg) and transport parcels (up to 20kg).
Push/pull a trolley when required.


Key Skills & Requirements:
Valid UK driving license (max 6 points, clean license preferred).
Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
Strong time management, organisational, and customer service skills.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
