We’re on the lookout for reliable and professional HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a well-established logistics team in Ilkeston on the outskirts of Notitngham and Derby. Working with a leading global logistics company, you’ll be delivering across the UK on a flatbed vehicle. On average, you’ll complete 4 drops per day – though runs can vary between 1 and 8, due to the nature of the loads, no handball is required.
✅ The Role
- Monday to Friday work
- Start times between 04:00 – 06:00
- 1–3 nights out per week (£26.20 allowance)
- Temp-to-perm opportunity after 12 weeks
- Overtime paid after 51.75 hours
- Experienced HGV Class 1 drivers (newly qualified considered with solid Class 2 or similar experience)
- Valid UK Driving Licence (CE), CPC & Digi Tacho
- Maximum of 6 penalty points (no DD, DR or IN convictions)
- Professional, safety-conscious, and reliable
- Strong communication skills and a long-term mindset
