Job Description
International Transport Planning Team Leader
Pertemps working in partnership with Kuehne and Nagel at East Midlands Gateway and are recruiting for an International Transport Planning Team Leader to oversee the daily running of the European road freight planning team.
This is a hands on role where you will demonstrate experience on European planning, leading individuals and make confident decisions to maintain customer service levels.
Hours of Work
+ Monday to Friday
+ 8am to 5pm
As a Transport Planning Team Leader you will need:
+ Strong transport or logistics planning experience
+ European planning experience
+ Able to coach and lead team members
+ A desire to lead from the front in a hands on role
+ Maintain clear communication with customers, suppliers, carriers and internal stateholders
+ Commercial acumen to manage cost, performance and avoid financial penalties
+ Maximise vehicle utilisation and avoid empty running
The successful candidate will:
+ Have Automotive exposure or just in time deliveries or other time-critical operations
+ Full-load, part load and groupage planning
+ Experience planning in a KPI driven environment
You will receive a salary between:
+ £37,000 to £40,000 per annum
+ Yearly increases based on your personal individual development performance plan
