Pertemps Kettering are recruiting for a HR Advisor to work for our prestigious bespoke manufacturing client to be based in the West Midlands. Benefits include 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays. 2 times life assurance and
Statutory pension at 3% with the employer contributing 2%.

The purpose of Job will be to work effectively with all stakeholders to ensure the provision of an efficient people information and administration service for the company.

Duties to include:
To be a first point of contact for all HR related queries
Administration of all HR documentation, such as offer letters, contracts of employment, references and leavers
Manage Singlepoint database and utilise system enhancements
Manage the hourly paid recruitment process i.e. liaise with recruitment agencies, set up interviews skill tests and issue relevant correspondence
Support HR Manager with direct recruitment initiatives
Understand strategic headcount requirements
Coordinate new employee inductions to ensure 100% compliance for health & safety/audit
Administering absenteeism and absence management system
Provide weekly Bradford Factor Reports for Line Managers
Provide payroll with accurate absence/holiday data in line with payroll timescales
Assist with the coordination/collation of documents for internal/external audits
Administering and supporting disciplinary events, liaising with Peninsula as required
Ensure that the return to work interview process is adhered to and applied consistently across all areas
Ensure all employee files and efiles are up-to-date and maintained
Organising and administering staff association meetings
Administer the Employee Engagement Team meetings
Support the HR Manager as required with actions
Support the HR Manager to ensure effective communications channels are evident in the business
New starter inductions
Arrange/book training courses as required
Support our Health & Safety Engineer, cascading health & safety issues, accident reports, schedule training as required - first aid, fire marshal, administer the companies eye and hearing test provision, organise the flu vaccination and ISO cyanate tests/monitoring
Undertaking miscellaneous duties as required by the company in support of personnel requirements e.g. uniforms, lockers etc

Key Performance Indicators:
Weekly/Monthly KPI's - absenteeism/ turnover/Bradford Factor/Health & Safety

CPP or equivalent qualification - desirable
O level or GCSE in English and Mathematics - essential

Skills and Experience
Strong administration skills - essential
IT literate in MS applications including Word, Excel and Powerpoint - essential
Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills - essential
Ability to work on own initiative and without supervision - essential
Able to work accurately, with attention to detail - essential
Ability to communicate with people at all levels, confidently and appropriately - essential
3 years experience in an HR role ideally in a medium-size manufacturing environment - essential
Experience of dealing with disciplinarians and grievances - essential
Good understanding of Employment Law - essential
