Our client based in Corby is looking for an Assemby Operative to join their small time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembly Tasks:
- Assemble products or components according to detailed instructions.
- Use hand tools, power tools, or machinery to assemble products.
- Follow specific assembly procedures and protocols to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Quality Control:
- Inspect parts and components for defects before and during the assembly process.
- Ensure finished products meet quality and safety standards.
- Report any issues or defects to the supervisor immediately.
- Efficiency and Productivity:
- Work to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Keep pace with the production line and perform tasks in a timely manner.
- Health and Safety:
- Follow health and safety guidelines and protocols at all times.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Team Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Assist other team members when needed.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
- Documentation:
- Complete any required documentation accurately, such as production logs or quality control reports.
- Maintain records of completed tasks and any issues encountered.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Basic Skills:
- Ability to read and follow detailed instructions, diagrams, and blueprints.
- Basic math skills for measuring and assembling components accurately.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
- Understanding of assembly techniques and processes.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Hours are:
Monday - Thursday 9am-5pm
Friday 9am-4pm
Pay Rate:
£11.44 p/h
