On behalf of our client, Pertemps are offering a permanent Senior Warehouse Operative role where you’ll combine hands-on duties with the chance to lead and support a small team. What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading by example while supporting and supervising a team of four.
- Booking in and dispatching goods accurately and on time.
- Making sure packages are packed, shipped, and labelled to the highest standards.
- Handling courier paperwork and ensuring compliance with legislation (IATA/ADR).
- Carrying out final quality checks and keeping standards high.
- Monitoring warehouse and freezer temperatures.
- Responding to supplier queries quickly and effectively.
- Keeping the warehouse safe, tidy and hazard-free.
- Getting involved in admin tasks like filing, scanning, and updating records.
What We’re Looking For
- Has a valid UK driving licence.
- Has warehouse experience, ideally in a senior or supervisory role.
- Is a strong communicator who can support and motivate a team.
- Is organised, detail-focused and reliable.
- Has a positive, “can-do” attitude.
- Is comfortable with lifting items up to 25kg.
- Bonus: ADR or IATA qualification (not essential).
What You’ll Get in Return
