About the role:
This role will be a key support to the Performance and Engagement Manager in designing and delivering key initiatives which support our ambition in creating a culture of inclusion, engagement and high performance.
Values and behaviours – manage the ongoing process of shaping and embedding our values and behaviours into people processes.
Employee engagement – manage our end to end engagement plan; from managing our third-party supplier to drive value and insights across our engagement forums (including on-boarding, bi-annual forums, annual engagement survey and exit interviews) to organising and facilitating employee engagement sessions such as Board engagement opportunities.
Performance management – partner with centres of excellent to ensure our processes remove barriers, identify key talent, have succession plans in place and reward the right behaviours. Includes managing the PDR and talking talent processes, preparing packs for leaders and managers to make effective decisions.
Inclusion – in liaison with the wider team and employee networks, support and drive initiatives to engage and motivate our people around our plan, driving forward our goals, positioning us as an inclusive great place to work. Includes analysing data to drive decisions to improve across our sector.
This role liaises closely with all areas of the business; from comms to policy and systems and especially the frontline to ensure our people are engaged to deliver on our priorities.
To be successful you will have the following skills and experience:
Solid HR knowledge with a good understanding of the principles and ability to debate approaches and ways forward within the context of people and performance
Significant experience in a similar organisation with a demonstrable track record of driving a high-performance culture
Experience of facilitating workshops, driving decisions and engaging highly influential leaders, turning around detractors and holding their own
•Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities with ease
•Experience of programme and project management
•Excellent stakeholder engagement and management
•An understanding of culture diagnosis methods and relevant data analytics
•An appreciation of the link between values, behaviours, engagement, inclusion with strong business performance

This role is flexible and can be performed as a job share. Please note that whilst this role is based from Clearwater Court in Reading there will be a requirement to facilitate events and engage with people across our patch (London to Swindon) as well as engaging with stakeholders further afield.
