The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations within the business, ensuring accurate financial reporting, budget control, compliance with statutory requirements, and strategic financial planning. This role will partner with operational leaders to drive profitability, improve cost efficiency, and support business growth through sound financial management.
This role is onsite in Glasgow paying a salary up to £65k DOE
Duties but not limited to:• Develop, manage, and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for operational units.
• Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimisation.
• Oversee timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, or local accounting standards.
• Monitor daily cash flow and optimise working capital requirements.
• Partner with operations to identify, measure, and control costs at a process and client level.
• Implement cost allocation models for accurate client profitability analysis.
• Ensure adherence to tax regulations, statutory filings, and audit requirements.
Experience:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent).
- Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in finance roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
- Strong knowledge of financial systems, reporting tools, and ERP software.
- Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- High attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
