Maintenance Operative (Bathrooms)
Pay Rate: £13.71
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00
Location: Central Liverpool, L3
Contract Type: Temporary until end of August

Summary:
A temporary Maintenance Operative responsible for applying bathroom sealant and completing sealing tasks across various bathroom fixtures to ensure water‑tight, safe, and hygienic conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Sealant Application - Apply silicone or appropriate bathroom sealant to baths, showers, sinks, toilets, and any other required fixtures.
Surface Preparation - Clean, dry, and prepare surfaces to ensure proper adhesion and long‑lasting results.
Inspection Work - Identify areas requiring resealing, including worn, cracked, or mould‑affected sealant.
Removal Tasks - Safely remove old or damaged sealant before applying new material.
Quality Assurance - Ensure all sealing work is completed to a high standard, leaving clean, neat finishes.
Tool Handling - Use sealant guns, scrapers, smoothing tools, and cleaning agents safely and effectively.
Requirements:
Experience with Sealant - Previous experience applying bathroom or construction sealant is preferred.
Attention to Detail - Ability to produce clean, precise finishes.
Physical Capability - Comfortable working in small spaces and performing manual tasks.
Health & Safety Awareness - Understanding of safe handling of tools and materials.
Reliability - Able to complete tasks within agreed timeframes.
