Contract Type: Temporary – Ad-hoc shifts
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Shift Patterns: 6:00am – 2:00pm or 2:00pm – 10:00pm

Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for Production Operatives to work on an ad-hoc basis at a busy manufacturing site in Birkenhead.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to pick up additional hours, supplement their existing income or gain further experience within a production and manufacturing environment.

Successful candidates will support day-to-day production activities, helping to ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

Work will be offered on an ad-hoc basis, depending on business requirements, so this opportunity would suit individuals who can offer flexibility and are available to work when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with general production and manufacturing duties.
  
  
• Supporting the production line to ensure operations run smoothly.
  
  
• Handling materials and products safely and efficiently.
  
  
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet the required standards.
  
  
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working environment.
  
  
• Following all health and safety procedures and site rules.
  
  
• Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets.
  
  
• Reporting any quality issues, equipment faults or concerns to the relevant supervisor.
  
  
• Completing any other reasonable duties required to support the production operation.
  
  

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in a production, manufacturing or warehouse environment would be beneficial but is not essential.
  
  
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
  
  
• Able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
  
  
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  
  
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
  
  
• Flexible and available to work ad-hoc shifts during the week.
  
  
• Able to comply with workplace health and safety requirements.
  
  

Working Hours
The site operates Monday to Friday, with the following shift patterns available:

• Early shift: 6:00am – 2:00pm
  
  
• Late shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
  
  

Shifts will be offered on an ad-hoc basis according to business needs. Candidates should be clear about their availability when applying.
