The OpportunityWe’re looking for a motivated and organised Site Assistant to join a busy construction site team in Plymouth. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, supporting the day-to-day running of a live site while gaining valuable experience across multiple areas of construction.
You’ll play a key role in keeping the site office running smoothly, working closely with Site Managers, Engineers, and the wider project team.

You’ll play a key role in keeping the site office running smoothly, working closely with Site Managers, Engineers, and the wider project team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the site team
- Assist Site Managers and Engineers with general tasks
- Support the Quantity Surveyor with measurements and take-offs
- Check contractor measurements for accuracy
- Coordinate and carry out site inductions
- Print and distribute drawings to site teams
- Maintain site documentation, records, and filing systems
- Assist with timesheets, purchase orders, and invoice processing
- Handle incoming calls and general correspondence
- Update spreadsheets and internal systems
- Support health & safety documentation and compliance
About You
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
- Good communication and organisational skills
- A team player who can also use their own initiative
- Driving licence as you may need to move vehicles on site
- Good Microsoft Office and general IT skills
