SEND Officer, £21.83ph, Social Care and Inclusion, Derbyshire
Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced SEND Officer to remove barriers to learning for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities and facilitate support to enable their preparation for adulthood.

The postholder will offer advice, guidance and support for children and young people; undertaking assessments and planning as required to ensure that their needs are met, enabling them to participate in learning. They will ensure that the needs of young people are met in an integrated, coherent, and sustained manner as part of the SEND team, by providing direct support or brokering support from specialist services.

The successful candidate must have significant experience of working with and assessing the needs of young people aged 0-25.
