Assistant Quantity Surveyor Location: West London
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 (depending on experience)

The Role This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic consultancy team. Working closely with senior surveyors, you’ll gain hands-on experience across cost management, contract administration, and project delivery. The role offers full support towards RICS chartership and exposure to a diverse range of projects.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in preparing cost estimates, feasibility studies, and elemental cost plans
- Help produce Bills of Quantities and tender documentation
- Support contract administration, valuations, and final accounts
- Attend site visits and client meetings under supervision
- Contribute to general cost and project management tasks
- Work towards APC and RICS qualification
Essential Requirements- BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- Strong analytical, numerical, and communication skills
- Genuine interest in construction and the built environment
- Positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Eligible to work in the UK and hold a valid UK driving licence
Desirable- Previous experience in a QS or construction-related role (placement or internship)
- Familiarity with software such as CostX, Bluebeam, or MS Excel
- Ambition to become RICS or CIOB chartered
- Understanding of current construction methods and procurement processes
