We have opportunities ranging from part-time and day-to-day work through to longer-term placements, allowing you to choose the type of work that best suits you.
As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you could be supporting pupils across mainstream primary schools, specialist provisions and SEN settings.

As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you could be supporting pupils across mainstream primary schools, specialist provisions and SEN settings.
Depending on the school and individual pupil's needs, your responsibilities may include:
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needs.
- Supporting children with autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs and learning difficulties.
- Helping pupils develop communication, confidence, independence and social skills.
- Supporting children to access the curriculum through differentiated activities and personalised strategies.
- Promoting positive behaviour and helping pupils manage emotions and transitions.
- Using visual supports, structured routines and communication strategies where appropriate.
- Supporting pupils during lessons, break times, lunch and wider school activities.
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and other education professionals.
- Providing a calm, consistent and encouraging presence for pupils who may require additional support.

The successful candidates will have:
- A degree in Psychology, Education, Childhood Studies, Speech and Language or a related subject.
