The role of an English Graduate Teaching Assistant is to support students 1-2-1 within the classroom following the class teacher’s guidance as well as holding your own small group intervention sessions for students in order to raise attainment levels.
 
As an English Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will receive support from the entire English department as you begin your journey within this ‘Good’ Ofsted rated school. As the students prepare for their GCSEs the role of an English Graduate Teaching Assistant will be vital to the students.
 
During your time at the school, you will be supported by the head of English who has been with the school for many years and even began his career as an English Graduate Teaching Assistant at this school!
