Export Coordinator

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sea Freight Export Coordinator to join a well-established logistics company based in Slough. This is a permanent role covering the full export process, from quotations through to final shipment.

Location: Slough
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary:£35,000-£36,000

The Role You will be responsible for handling sea freight export shipments end to end, ensuring excellent customer service, accurate documentation, and on-time deliveries.
Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and issuing sea freight export quotations
• Booking shipments with shipping lines and freight partners
• Managing export shipments from order receipt through to final shipment
• Preparing and checking all export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading
• Liaising with customers, overseas agents, shipping lines, and hauliers
• Tracking shipments and providing updates to customers
• Ensuring compliance with export regulations and company procedures
• Resolving any shipment issues or delays efficiently

Requirements

• Previous experience in sea freight exports is essential
• Strong understanding of export documentation
• Experience handling shipments from quotation to shipment
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Good IT skills, including MS Office and freight systems
