A Manufacturing company based near Upton Upon Severn are looking for a Production Operative to join their team working 07:00 – 15:45, Monday – Thursday and 07:00 – 14:45 on Friday.
The company is a well-established successful wood products manufacturing business with a high demanding customer base.

As a Production Operative you will be responsible for:

• Working within a traditional factory processing different types of wood and operating various wood working equipment.
• Operate a range of machinery, tools and equipment to produce wood components and products to specification using a variety of raw materials
• Use a range of fixing techniques including joint assembly, installing mechanical fixings and applying appropriate adhesives to form products to the given specification
• Other general Production/Manufacturing duties.

As a Production Operative you will be required to:

• Have worked as a Production Operative before would be essential.
• Precious experience in a wood product manufacturing industry would be beneficial.
• Previous experience using tools would be beneficial.
• A committed and enthusiastic approach to work will be essential.
• Flexible with shifts and willing to work overtime as and when needed by the business.
