📍 Location: Malvern
💷 Starting Pay: £12.78 per hour
🕒 Hours: 39 hours per week
Monday to Thursday: 07:45 – 16:30
Friday: 07:45 – 15:00
Includes 30-minute unpaid lunch and two paid short breaks per day
We are currently looking for a skilled Assembly Operative to join our growing production team. This is a hands-on role assembling high-quality water heaters and boilers, ideal for someone with a background in mechanical or electrical assembly.
This full-time opportunity offers stable hours, training, and the chance to grow your skills in a supportive manufacturing environment.
🔩 Key Responsibilities:
- Mechanical and electrical assembly of products in line with technical drawings and instructions
- Performing pressure and leak testing
- Carrying out final product testing and basic fault rectification
- Maintaining quality, consistency, and efficiency in all work
- Supporting various departments such as electrical, spares, sheet metal, or stores when needed
- Adhering strictly to health and safety guidelines
- Has experience in equipment or appliance assembly
- Can confidently read and follow technical drawings
- Is physically fit and capable of lifting and moving components
- Works well both independently and as part of a team
- Is reliable, detail-focused, and methodical in approach
- Communicates clearly and takes pride in producing quality work
- Experience in gas appliance or boiler assembly
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English & Maths – Grade C or above
- Forklift truck licence (preferred but not essential)
- Experience with product testing or troubleshooting
- Consistent working hours and paid breaks
- Training and upskilling opportunities
