Pertemps is recruiting on behalf of Liverpool City Council for an experienced Specialist Housing Occupational Therapist to join the Adult Social Care team on a locum basis.
This role focuses on supporting residents with disabilities to live independently through tailored assessments, equipment provision, and housing adaptations. 🛠 Key Responsibilities:
- Complete strength-based assessments under the Care Act 2014 and relevant legislation
- Partner with individuals with disabilities and their carers, ensuring their voices are central to support planning
- Recommend and arrange equipment and structural adaptations to promote independence and well-being
- Work collaboratively with internal teams, community resources, and other professionals to deliver integrated support
- Manage a varied caseload within Adult Social Care priorities and council policies
- Engage in ongoing professional development in line with Allied Health Professional Council requirements
- Qualified Occupational Therapist, registered with HCPC
- Experience working within adult social care and housing adaptations
- Strong working knowledge of relevant legislation including the Care Act 2014
- Excellent communication, assessment, and caseload management skills
- Competitive hourly rate – £39.45
