Rate: £36.75 per hour (umbrella)
Hours: 35 per week (full-time, 5 days)
Contract: 3–6 months initially (likely extension)
Caseload: Adults with physical disabilities
Location: Hybrid – WFH as part of standard working culture (IT kit provided, collection from council office required)

About the Role:
Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Children & Adults Occupational Therapy Team. This role focuses primarily on adults with physical disabilities, providing timely and effective OT assessments, interventions, and support to promote independence and quality of life.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an OT with experience in social care or health settings who is looking for a flexible hybrid role with stable, long-term potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and effective OT assessments and interventions for adults with physical disabilities
• Recommend and facilitate equipment, adaptations, and care packages to support independent living
• Provide professional advice and reports to inform care planning and service delivery
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies to reduce duplication and waiting times
• Support timely reviews of care packages to ensure best value and effective use of resources

Essential Requirements

• HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
• Proven experience working with adults with physical disabilities within social care or health services
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload effectively

Working Pattern & Equipment

• Hybrid role – work from home is part of the culture
• IT kit provided by the council (must be collected in person)
• Standard 5-day working week (condensed hours not currently offered)
