About the Role Redbridge Council is seeking an experienced 
Occupational Therapist to join our 
HASS Cranbrook and Loxford Team. You’ll be working across the borough within a multi-disciplinary service, supporting residents through high-quality, person-centred interventions.
 You’ll manage a caseload of around 
four cases per week, covering a mix of 
complex and standard OT cases, and contribute to improving independence, safety, and quality of life for residents. 
Key Responsibilities- Undertake complex assessments and make recommendations for major adaptations and specialist equipment.
 - Prepare sketches, plans, and detailed specifications for major works.
 - Deliver holistic, person-centred assessments, support planning and reviews.
 - Participate in duty work and multi-disciplinary team meetings.
 - Ensure compliance with legislation and best practice around manual handling and safe working procedures.
 
Essential Requirements- Strong knowledge and experience in major adaptations, complex equipment, and manual handling.
 - Experience working in a multi-professional team, delivering holistic and person-centred OT assessments.
 - Solid understanding of the legal social care framework and housing legislation.
 - Proven ability to manage and prioritise complex caseloads effectively.
 - Skilled in assessing for, recommending, and reviewing both simple and complex equipment, ensuring safe use and compliance with policy and legislation.
 
Qualifications & Experience- HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist qualification (essential).
 - Excellent knowledge of specialist equipment, major adaptations, and manual handling.
 - Ability to work autonomously while managing a demanding workload.
 - Experience working within a multi-disciplinary setting.
