Childrens Residential Workers – Greater London
Pay rate: £23-£26 per hour
Full time Shift work – Day shifts and Sleep-in shifts available. Needs people that are available most days and adhoc
 
A Greater London short to meduim residential home in the Hayes area is recruiting Childrens Residential Workers for Children with Disabilities. 

Overview of Services
  • Target Group: Children and young people under the age of 18 years.
    • Care Type: Overnight respite care, short breaks, and short-to-medium-term residential placements.
    • Specialisms: Supporting individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and complex health or sensory needs.
    • Facilities: Features accessible spaces including a sensory room, arts and crafts area, and an outdoor play space
 Duties include:
  • Assisting children with personal care, medication administration, and mealtimes while promoting their independence.
    • Implementing highly person-centred plans tailored to each child’s physical, health, and sensory requirements.
    • Building trusting relationships and employing de-escalation strategies to help young people navigate frustrations and regulate their emotions.
    • Creating a fun, stimulating, and safe environment to help children build positive peer relationships and engage in community or play activities.
Shifts: 
  • Shifts are approx 7-2 2- 10 and sleep in
Qualifications:
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
    • Clear Enhanced DBS
