Project Support Officer – SEND Transformation Programme
Location: Slough
Rate: £268.17 per day
Hours: Full-time, 5 days per week
Working pattern: Hybrid – minimum 2 days per week in the office
Pertemps Social Care are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Support Officer to join a local authority's SEND Transformation Programme.
The successful candidate will have strong project office or programme support experience and will be confident managing multiple priorities, coordinating stakeholders, maintaining accurate records and ensuring actions and key deliverables are tracked through to completion.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide project and programme support across a range of SEND transformation activity.
- Maintain and update project plans, documentation, trackers and programme records.
- Monitor actions, milestones, deliverables, risks, issues and dependencies.
- Prepare project updates, progress reports, presentations and briefing papers.
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, stakeholder events and programme activity.
- Take accurate minutes and ensure actions are recorded, monitored and followed up.
- Support programme governance, including preparation of meeting papers and documentation.
- Coordinate communication across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Manage competing priorities and work independently, using initiative to identify and resolve issues where appropriate.
- Strong experience supporting complex projects, programmes or transformation activity.
- Experience working within a project, programme or transformation office environment.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Experience maintaining project trackers, systems, processes and documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word and Teams.
