Reablement Team – Bromley Council
Bromley Council’s Adult Social Care Service is seeking a dedicated Locum Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic Reablement Team on a 3-month contract. This role offers flexible working hours, making it an ideal opportunity to balance your work and personal commitments while making a meaningful difference to Bromley residents.
Key details:
- Role: Locum Occupational Therapist
- Contract: 3 months
- Hours: 30 hours per week
- Hourly Rate: £32/hour
- Location: Bromley Borough – Reablement Team
- Flexible working arrangements 2 days in office and 3 days working from home
- Expenses: Can claim back miles/travel to visits
As part of Bromley Council’s Reablement Team, you will:
- Occupational Therapy Assessments of clients in their own home for standard equipment and minor adaptations
- Completing assessments with reablement senior support workers in relation to reablement interventions and goal planning. • Triaging of reablement cases.
- Assessing for and providing specialist equipment, including seating.
- Completing Moving and Handling Assessments.
- HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist.
- Occupational Therapy Diploma /Degree.
- Previous experience in reablement, community, or adult social care settings.
- Strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a supportive team.
