Children’s Social Worker, Adoption Agency Advisor, West Midlands 
Pay rate £42 per hour

Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Children’s Social Worker in the Stafford area. 
As this is a Local Authority role, you will need to have at least 3 years’ Permanent employment experience within Local Authority Children’s Services. 
Adoption Agency Advisor 
Provide independent professional social work advice to the Agency Decision Maker (ADM) on children where adoption is the proposed permanence plan 

• Review and quality assure Child Permanence Reports (CPRs), Prospective Adopter Reports (PARs), Adoption Placement Reports (APRs) and supporting assessments to ensure they meet statutory, regulatory and practice standards.
• Prepare and present professional advice to the ADM, highlighting strengths, risks, evidence, legal considerations and any areas requiring further analysis.
• Act as the professional adviser to Adoption Panel, providing guidance on relevant legislation, regulations, case law, national guidance, policy and adoption practice.
• Monitor the quality and timeliness of adoption reports and contribute to continuous improvement of adoption practice and permanence planning.
• Provide advice and consultation to social workers, managers and adoption teams regarding permanence planning, adoption processes and regulatory requirements
• Support quality assurance activity, performance monitoring and reporting to senior leaders and the Adoption Agency/Regional Adoption Partnership governance arrangements
