Pay rate to £270 per day 
Contract role, Local Government Housing 
 
We are recruiting for an experienced Local Authority Housing Needs Team Manager in North London.  
This is a contract role, and you will need to have experience in a similar role in a Local Authority setting 
Main Purpose of the Job 

• To manage one of five Housing Needs teams to provide an effective and responsive 
  homelessness prevention and assessment service; delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring service standards are achieved whilst providing a critical source of support for 
  customers seeking help with their housing needs. 

• To work alongside external agencies and other partners to deliver homelessness services for 
  the benefit of Haringey residents and ensure available resources are used effectively. 

• To play a key role in the Housing Demand service and the organisation as a whole, contributing to the overall objectives and vision of Haringey Council. 

• To deliver a service that carries out the statutory enforcement duties and wider responsibilities related to the Renters Rights Act.
