Local Authority Children’s Social Care, Commissioning Officer, Leicestershire 
Pay rate to £29.92 per hour 
Contract role, residential care, fostering, supported accommodation 
 
We are recruiting for experienced Commissioning Officer within Local Authority Children’s Social Care in Leicestershire 

• You will need experience of undertaking quality assurance, compliance, monitoring, or/and audit activity within children's social care looking at residential care, fostering, supported accommodation.  

• You should be confident in analysing documentation, reviewing policies and records, gathering feedback from professionals and young people, conducting site visits, identifying areas for improvement, and producing detailed reports to agreed timescales. 

• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, professional communication skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining positive relationships with providers and stakeholders are essential. Knowledge of Ofsted/CQC regulated services, safeguarding, health and safety, and children's services legislation would be highly desirable. 

• Travelling to these visits is part of the role, so access to their own vehicle with a UK valid driving license and business insurance is essential.
