Local Authority Transport Officer, Leicestershire 
Pay rate £14.37 per hour 
Contract role, Local Authority Transport Services 
 
We are recruiting for experienced Local Authority Transport Officer in Leicestershire 
Responsibilities: 

• Plan and procure passenger transport services using both manual and ICT systems. 

• Support efficiency reviews, including season ticket purchases and fare-paying passenger transport. 

• Liaise with internal fleet management and external contractors to ensure compliance with current standards. 

• Provide guidance on the use and maintenance of specialist passenger transport equipment. 

• Ensure all contracted vehicles are appropriately licensed and insured. 

• Maintain accurate records and transport databases 

• You will need proven experience in transport planning.
