SEND Teacher – Secondary – Birmingham

As a SEND Teacher, you’ll lead small, well-supported classes of no more than 10 students, with the backing of experienced Teaching Assistants and a leadership team that understands and values the work you do. • Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to a wide range of needs.
• Creating a safe, structured, and supportive classroom where students feel valued.
• Working closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists, and families to ensure consistent support.
• Encouraging personal and social development alongside academic learning.
• Promoting positive behaviour strategies and celebrating individual achievements.

The ideal candidate will have:

• QTS and experience teaching in a SEND or secondary setting (desirable but not essential).
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Creativity, patience, and a genuine passion for helping young people succeed.
• A commitment to building brighter futures for students with additional needs.
