• 1 x Reception / Year 1 Mixed Class SEN Teaching Assistant
• 2 x Year 2 SEN Teaching Assistants
• 2 x Year 2/3 Mixed Class SEN Teaching Assistants
• 2 x Year 4/5 Mixed Class SEN Teaching Assistants
• 1 x Year 5/6 Mixed Class SEN Teaching Assistant

Mainstream Department

• 1 x Reception SEN Teaching Assistant
• 1 x Year 2/3 Mixed Class SEN Teaching Assistant

The Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students with additional learning needs, helping them access the curriculum and achieve positive outcomes both academically and socially.
Responsibilities will include:

• Supporting pupils with Autism (ASC), Speech & Language needs, and other additional needs.
• Working on a 1:1 basis and with small groups.
• Supporting the delivery of personalised learning programmes and EHCP targets.
• Encouraging independence, engagement, and positive behaviour.
• Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and parents.
• Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements We are looking for candidates who:

• Have experience supporting children or young people with SEN.
• Are patient, caring, and resilient.
• Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Are passionate about making a positive impact on children's lives.
• Have school-based experience (desirable but not essential).
• Hold relevant qualifications or training (desirable).
