A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Lambeth (SW2) is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their specialist Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP) from September. - Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with autism and complex needs.
- Support students with communication, social interaction and emotional regulation.
- Assist in delivering personalised learning programmes and interventions.
- Encourage independence, confidence and engagement in learning.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and families to support pupil progress.
- Help create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
- A graduate with experience supporting children or young people with SEN.
- Passionate about working with children with autism and additional needs.
- Patient, resilient and empathetic in their approach.
- Keen to gain practical experience before pursuing further training or qualifications.
- Interested in careers such as Educational Psychology, Social Work, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Teaching.
