The Role You will work closely with children and young people with:

• Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
• Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
• Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
• Communication and sensory needs
• Complex medical and physical needs

Working alongside experienced teachers, therapists, and support staff, you will help pupils access learning, develop independence, and achieve their individual goals within a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support throughout the school day
• Assist pupils with their educational, social, and emotional development
• Support personalised learning activities and interventions
• Help students develop communication, independence, and life skills
• Work collaboratively with teachers and specialist professionals
• Build positive relationships with pupils and their families
• Promote a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

• A degree in Psychology, Criminology, or a related subject
• Passion for supporting children with additional needs
• Patient, resilient, and compassionate nature
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Commitment to making a difference in young people's lives

No previous school or SEN experience is required. Full training and support will be provided for the successful candidate.
