SEN Teacher – Reading – Specialist Setting We are currently recruiting for a committed and compassionate SEN Teacher to join a well-established specialist school in Reading on a permanent basis from September.

About the Role:
- Teaching a small KS2 class (typically 5–8 pupils)
- Supporting pupils with severe and profound learning difficulties (SLD/PMLD) and Autism (ASD)
- Delivering a highly personalised and differentiated curriculum
- Working closely with a strong team of Teaching Assistants (high staff-to-pupil ratio)
- Supporting students with EHCPs, communication needs, and sensory profiles
- Creating a structured, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- Experience working with SEN pupils, particularly complex needs (SLD, PMLD, ASD)
- Strong understanding of communication strategies and sensory approaches
- A patient, adaptable, and nurturing teaching style
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
