Pay rate to £27.46 per hour
Contract role, Local Authority Revenue and Benefits
We are recruiting for an experienced Benefits Assessment Officer, in for a Local Authority in North London.
Essential Criteria
- A minimum of 2 years experience of all Housing Benefit assessment and calculations including New Claims, change in circumstances, reviews and reconsiderations mainly with Temporary Accommodation.
- Have worked with Atlas, VEP and HBAA.
- Must also have a good knowledge of iWorld and Information@work systems as well as Northgate NPS.
- Successful candidate will working with new sign ups to both Temporary accommodation and general needs but mainly TA.
- Must have knowledge of relevant HB and UC legislation and guidance
- Position is a hybrid role with candidate working 1 day a week from the office.
- Candidate must also have good working knowledge of UC
You will need to have experience in a similar level role in a Local Authority.
