Job Description
Senior Social Worker - Safeguarding Team, Telford
Pay Rate: £31.97ph
Hybrid – office/home/client
To assess, plan and manage a professional social work caseload, while actively participating in weekly peer review meetings where work with individuals and families is reviewed within an Asset-Based and Community-Led Support framework, contributing to recommendations for final decisions by the Team Manager. This includes assessing, support planning, and reviewing individuals receiving Adult Social Care, with a strong emphasis on asset-based approaches. The role also involves developing and maintaining effective professional relationships with individuals, their carers, and significant others, as well as with internal and external partners across Telford & Wrekin. Additionally, the post holder is expected to use their own initiative to design creative, person-centred support plans by identifying and utilising community resources, avoiding reliance on standardised or “off-the-shelf” solutions. No staff management required.
