Adult’s Social Worker, Richmond and Wandsworth
£32 per hour
We’re based in Wandsworth Town Hall extension and we need a SW to join our duty team. That would mean 2 days a week being office-based, occasionally more than that depending on cover needs.
Richmond and Wandsworth Adult Social Services are looking for experienced, qualified post ASYE Social Workers to join our Wandsworth Locality teams.
The teams consist of Locality Service Managers, Assistant Locality Managers, Senior Social Workers, Social Workers and Social Care Assessors who work across Wandsworth. The teams focus is to provide a holistic, personalised, strength based service to residents over the age of 18 who have physical disabilities and older people with physical and mental health disabilities.
Key aspects of the role include:
• undertaking assessments of individual and carers needs and risks to encourage independence, provide support and prevent harm.
• working in partnership with service users and carers using a person-centred approach, with the aim of maximising independence, wellbeing and choice.
• applying social work principles and values to guide professional practice and respect diversity.
