Pay Rate: £16.00 – £18.00 per hour
Shifts: Days & Nights Available
Job Type: Ongoing / Temp-to-Perm
We are a leading recruitment agency seeking experienced HGV 1 Drivers to work with a respected client in the temperature-controlled logistics sector, based near Wrexham.
This is an excellent opportunity for skilled HGV 1 Drivers to secure regular, ongoing work with competitive pay, flexible shifts, and the potential for a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities for the HGV 1 Driver:
- Trunking and collection/delivery of refrigerated goods
- Completing pre- and post-trip vehicle checks
- Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately
- Adhering to all road transport and safety regulations
- Representing the company in a professional manner at all times
- Valid UK HGV 1 (Class 1 / C+E) licence
- Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 12 months recent experience as an HGV 1 Driver
- No more than 6 points on licence – no DR, DD or IN convictions
- Good knowledge of driver hours and WTD regulations
- Pay rates from £16.00 to £18.00 per hour
- Day and night shifts available
