Religious Education Teacher – Brent – September 2025 Start 
Are you a passionate and reflective RE Teacher looking to make a real impact in a diverse and inclusive school? A forward-thinking secondary school in Brent is seeking a dedicated Religious Education Teacher to join their Humanities department on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2025
 
  • Start Date: September 2025 
  • Location: Brent, North West London 
  • Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time 
  • Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience) 
 
The Role 
You will teach Religious Education across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging students to think critically about ethics, beliefs, and world religions. Depending on your experience, there may also be opportunities to teach Philosophy or PSHE and contribute to Key Stage 5. 
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive Humanities team committed to developing thoughtful, respectful, and curious learners. 
 
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable RE Teacher who: 
  • Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) 
  • Has a degree in Religious Studies, Theology, Philosophy, or a related subject 
  • Is confident teaching RE at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable) 
  • Has strong classroom management and the ability to inspire respectful discussion 
  • Embraces inclusive teaching approaches that reflect a wide range of faiths and worldviews 
  • Works well as part of a team and is committed to ongoing professional development
